CONFIDENCE IS BUILT BY DOING
Day 79/365 Mindset
One of the easiest traps to fall into when building an online business is waiting until you feel confident.
You want to know more.
You want to understand the technology.
You want the perfect content.
You want the perfect funnel.
You want to know that your offer will work.
You want to feel ready.
But eventually...
You have to do.
Russ Harris's The Confidence Gap offers a powerful perspective:
“The aim is not to get rid of fear, but to learn to live with it.”
That applies to business too.
You don't have to know exactly what will happen before you publish.
You don't have to know exactly how people will respond before you test.
You don't have to know whether Version 1 will work before you build it.
You learn by doing.
Learn → Apply → Test → Analyse → Adjust → Improve
And something happens along the way.
You gain experience.
You become more capable.
You start trusting yourself more.
And confidence begins to grow.
I am learning this through my own Funnel Junkies and FJU journey.
I don't always feel confident.
But I am becoming more comfortable taking the next step even when I don't have all the answers.
And every time I do, I learn something.
My Starting Over Principle today:
Confidence is not something you wait for. It is something you build every time you take action despite uncertainty.
So don't wait until you feel completely ready.
Take the next informed step.
Let the experience teach you.
Let the lessons improve you.
And let the action build your confidence.
