Disputing Items w/ furnisher? Where Should You Send my Letter?
When i'm sending a dispute letter to a furnisher (Portfolio Recovery Associates) or a debt collector, should I be sending it to their main business address or should you be trying to find their registered agent?
The registered agent is the person or company designated to receive legal documents on behalf of the business. Can sending the letter to the registered agent can sometimes be more effective?
But how do you even find a company's registered agent information?
Do anyone have any good resources to share for locating a company's registered agent?
I want to make sure I'm sending my next dispute letter to the right place to get the best results.
Looking forward to your insights!
