@Denita Solomon Score 720+, 2-3 primary cards @$5K+, no negative info on credit report and installment accts (car/mortgage/rent reporting/personal loan). Income is important for (DTI ratio) and keep utilization under 30% and even better under 10% for best rates and approvals. Once you have this getting business cards is easy. Show them you are responsible with the limits they give you (max out but pay in full before due date, don't go over the max limit) get CLI at the schedule time for each lender. The limits you get on the personal side is usually what you get or higher on the business side. Clearing inquiries and locking down CRAs as you stack is VERY INPORTANT! 1 name, address and phone number on all CRA reports, employer not required to be listed (I personally wouldn't) 💯🙏🏽

@Denita Solomon My very first card was a Capital One $1.5K limit. They would never give me and increase. 🤔 But when I applied for a new card, they gave me $20K. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Congrats on the NFCU card, that's really low for them...we need to talk about your data points on credit card applications. 🤑💯🙏🏽
Leading a car in my business name!!!
If I lease a vehicle in my name will it show? I’ve bought vehicles in my business name and the loan does not show but I’ve never leased. Does anyone know?

@Mariah Ivana Yes, if you personally sign the lease agreement for a vehicle, it will likely appear on your personal credit report, regardless of how the vehicle is used for your business. This is particularly true for small business owners and sole proprietors who often use their personal credit history to qualify for a business lease. Here's a breakdown of how it works: - Personal guarantee: Many lenders and dealerships require a personal guarantee for business leases, especially for new businesses or smaller ones without a strong credit history. By signing this guarantee, you are personally promising to repay the debt if your business fails to, making you ultimately responsible for the lease payments. This makes it a personal liability that gets reported to consumer credit bureaus. - Credit inquiry: When you apply for a lease, the lessor will perform a hard inquiry on your personal credit report to assess your creditworthiness. This can cause a small, temporary dip in your credit score. - Impact on debt-to-income ratio: A car lease shows up on your credit report as an installment account. Lenders will consider the monthly payment when calculating your debt-to-income ratio, which affects your ability to get future personal loans, like a mortgage. - Payment history: Your payment history on the lease will be reported to the credit bureaus. Consistent, on-time payments can help build your credit score over time, while missed payments can significantly damage it. 💯🙏🏽

@Harold Jackson Are these open or closed accounts? Late payments are a little harder but doable, need to see if there are any inaccuracies that would make removal easier. If none, then you have to try to remove the entire account. Inquiries you can do over the phone. #CheckChat💯🙏🏽
