LinkedIn Live Update and Request for Support
We hosted our first LinkedIn Live today, and I wanted to share a quick update.
First, the good news: the event promotion reached approximately 2,000 people.
We used this month’s 10% membership fee allocation to help promote the event, which gave us strong visibility.
We also had 17 people attend live, and the broadcast generated 114 impressions, and 20 people went to the FractionalExecutiveConnecton.com website after the event was over.
Now, the opportunity for improvement (the bad news):
I was not able to successfully bring our FEC experts into the live broadcast as interactive participants. I continued with the presentation, but the experience was not as collaborative or polished as I had intended.
I want to sincerely apologize to our co-hosts. I was not able to successfully bring you into the live broadcast as interactive participants, and that was frustrating and disappointing.
I successfully tested it by myself, but was not successful when there were co-hosts. I appreciate the time, preparation, and expertise you brought to the event, and I’m sorry the technology did not allow us to showcase you properly.
For our next LinkedIn Live, I would like to create a smoother, more professional, and more interactive experience, especially when we have co-hosts or featured experts.
  • The ASK: If you have experience running LinkedIn Live events with co-hosts, panelists, or guests, please reply to this thread or email me directly. I would greatly appreciate your guidance so we can improve the experience for future events.
Thank you.
