Happy to join the community!

Hello everyone,

My name is Thierry Moucazambo. I am a French artist, actor, dancer, and artistic and spiritual coach. For more than 40 years, my work has explored the meeting point between art, the body, breath, and spiritual consciousness.

Much of this journey has been shared with theatre director and author Philippe Pelen, with whom I have collaborated for nearly four decades. Together we have explored theatre as a space of transformation, where breath, movement, and voice open a deeper dimension of being. I am also happy to say that Philippe is part of this group, Ascension University.

I would like to share a short poetic text from the theatre piece ‘Kor, Maison du Vent’, written by Philippe and performed by me. This work was actually the starting point of my own exploration and research into the power of breath and respiration.

Breathe in, Breathe out.

Let us flee war and suffocation. Like dreamers drifting through the air, let us follow the fragile thread of our breath.

Breathe in, Breathe out.

Enter the body. Draw closer to matter, to the beating heart of life.

Dive into the cells. Gently touch the living substance that pulses within. Feel it closing…and opening again.

Breathe in, Breathe out.

Feel the wind of the breath carving space within you, spreading life in its wake.

Become this wind.

And in a single breath, open yourself to our source.
