🥋 A Community Built on Financial Education for all 🌱
This Financial Self-Defense Education Dojo (FSD) is a completely separate entity but built from my Decade+ of experience running my real world business as a licensed financial services educator and sales person. While my experiences helping individuals, families, business owners, and professionals have certainly influenced the lessons and discussions you'll find here, the opinions and educational content shared within this community are my own and are provided for educational purposes. My goal is simple: 👉 Help people better understand money. 👉 Help people ask better questions. 👉 Help people become more confident making financial decisions. 👉 Help people build a stronger future through education. 🎯 A Dream Years in the Making For many years I've hosted free webinars, workshops, and educational sessions because I genuinely believe financial knowledge should be more accessible.Creating a dedicated educational Dojo like this has been something I've wanted to do for a very long time. As you'll quickly discover, I have a tendency to be a bit of a perfectionist. 😅 That means I'm constantly looking for ways to improve the experience, organize information better, and create resources that provide real value. While the Dojo is still evolving, I'm excited about where it's heading and grateful to have you along for the journey. 🤝Commitment? This Dojo is being built around a few simple principles: 🥋 Respect for all members 📚 Lifelong learning 💡 Open-minded discussion 🛡️ Financial empowerment through education 🌱 Progress over perfection Whether you're just beginning your financial journey or already have years of experience, you are welcome here. 🙃 A Little About Me If we haven't met yet, I'm Crystal. I'm a martial arts instructor, financial educator, lifelong learner, and occasionally a little quirky (possibly more than a little, depending on who you ask 😉). I believe education should be practical, respectful, and as much fun as possible. Most importantly, I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to understand the financial systems that affect their lives.

My kids and Money... some funny stories
I've been having a chat with a fellow mom on skool about her mom group and she asked about what my group is about and thought you guys might get a kick out of these stories from my kids and teaching about money... 🐴 Me: I just did up a little video as part of my financial education as Top 5 five ways to teach young people about money... hopefully help with 1 less stress for parents... I found when I started talking to my kids about money they didn't throw as MANY tantrums etc.. always some of course... but they have retained a bunch of it and as they are new adults they are way ahead of their peers in that regard. 🙍‍♀️Other mom: That’s brilliant! I love that you’re teaching kids about money early on — it’s such a powerful life skill. Kids are incredibly wise, and I don’t think we give them enough credit for how much they can learn through simple, honest conversations. Those moments of connection really help them understand the world and feel more capable. That’s brilliant! I love that you’re teaching kids about money early on — it’s such a powerful life skill. Those dang skylanders... brilliant marketing by the company... but wow... talk about targeting littles. I sure liked when they just watched videos that didn't have commercials either. 🙍‍♀️Other mom: Haha, I love that, Crystal! I have three, and they each handle money so differently. One saves everything but then wants us to buy what he wants so he doesn’t have to spend his own. One spends half. And one spends every last penny and then can’t figure out why she doesn’t have money left at the end of the day. 😅

Why should you join our dojo?
What you'll master in our Financial Self Defense Dojo: ✅ Money fundamentals: budgeting, debt elimination, emergency fund building ✅ Financial self-defense tactics to protect against bad advice and hidden fees ✅ Insight into Government programs most advisors never mention (RDSP, disability benefits) ✅ Step by step instructions on how to understand and optimize tax efficient strategies ✅ Money fundamentals: budgeting, debt elimination, emergency fund building ✅ Real questions answered in monthly live Q&A webinars ✅ Community support from others navigating the same journey ✅ Various training packages for self study with or without 1-on-1 accountability custom plans ✅ Access to Exclusive 1-on-1 training, accountability and customized insight into your personal situation So who is this designed for? ❤️‍🩹I know the experts all say to be selective and narrow down a "perfect member/client" however that goes against my core values and belief that Expert Financial Self Defense Education needs to be accessible to anyone who wants to learn in order to make a true impact in our world. ♿So although I am extremely passionate about helping individuals with extra mental or physical challenges and that is one of my strongest areas of expertise and unique experience you will no-doubt see this in my other introduction videos. 💲However, I will be building this dojo to reach and help as many people as I can, no matter their bank balance or their starting point in financial education. I will be a bit "all over the place" for content creation and uploads. This is because much of the inspiration will be influenced by the people I am also helping in the "real world", as I create custom step by step plans and coach them I will now be also creating and uploading the strategies and training I create for them here as well. ⚠️To be perfectly honest, so much of the basic skills and concepts I will be sharing can be used in many different ways to work into advanced creation of a Kata (bonus "points" if you look that one up). Financial world comparison would be a custom plan to take a person from where they are to beyond where they ever thought they ever could be.

Why should you join our dojo?
Hi, It's me Mario.... oops I mean Crystal
I may have just given a hint to my age, but that's ok, I like to have fun while meeting and learning with you all. As you may know, with my re-organizing of the dojo in order to unlock the learning modules I am asking you to please participate in the community, at least a little bit. Please tell us a little about yourself, it does not have to be anything financial it can be something like if you are an animal lover, an artist or what tv show or book you enjoy the most. Of course if you want to share a high priority question or reason for joining you are welcome to do that too. One of the biggest reasons I choose the skool platform is so that instead of ONLY being a passive learning tool, members like you and I would also engage, discuss topics and have fun. Hense the forced interaction. As you might feel if you are here, talking about money can be a scary and sometimes embarrassing thing for many people but my hope is to provide support and friendship through this community platform as well as great educational content. As a way to start off some interaction, please also particpate in the poll below.... _________________________________________________________________________________________________ 📊 Who knows that I have the 40% referral option turned on for the community and what that means?
