My vision for this group is to create a fun & engaging Financial Dojo.
I use “dojo” intentionally—my karate dojo shaped who I am. I went there to learn martial arts but gained life-long values: self-improvement, humility, and the belief that everyone has something to offer. Becoming a Sensei wasn’t just about skill—it meant living with character, showing respect, leading by example, and passing on knowledge. I still run a karate dojo as a 100% volunteer activity.
In 2012 I was tired of corporate job and craving a new career. My sister had just asked how to best financially support her 6-year-old daughter with a rare disease. The advisor NEVER TOLD HER about a FREE Can. gov. program that could provide up to $90K. That was unacceptable to me so I started digging.
I realized I could make a real difference in finance — no pressure, no sales tricks, just education and support. I got licensed and started to share knowledge, build confidence, and empower others in their financial journey.
