Non Newtonian Smart Material:
Turns from soft goo-y Putty.... If experiencing Impact, in milliseconds, turns to structural rigid 3 D "steel", and takes very heavy impacts, while, in this demo, protecting an egg inside it....
Probably a great thing to do testing on in a Formula 1 development lab. Perhaps a material to use in Custom molded driver's seats saving lives, in event of violent crashes. -PJB
