Man am I excited to be here!! This week at work has been a fantastic week! I just started a new role last week at a new site. I knew my biggest kryptonite is being task oriented. I fail to show my colleagues their value as people over the work. That’s been a struggle for me with every job change. BUT NOT THIS TIME!!
First things first, I set up one on one’s to get to know everybody as people first!
Then, we had a huge hiccup at my new site that I’ve dealt with before, completely unrelated to my new role. Thankfully, I had the relationships built already to support and mentor vs. being seen as an arrogant know-it-all!!
