Searching for Executives Over 50
Thanks for Lori and Rob for calling my attention to the confusion surrounding searching our group's website online. Until an hour ago if you searched for Executives Over 50 you were directed to a MailChimp web page that I created years ago when the group was called Professionals over 50. I've now shut that down although the metadata will linger for a while online. As you can see from the screenshots below, the first thing you find is an article that includes material from my LinkedIn profile, the old MailChimp web page and my website. Now however, Executives over 50 as a search term pulls up the correct page on my website. The metadata “Senior Executives Coaching” will also remain in place for a few weeks until it gets changed to “Executives Over 50” but at least now It takes you to the right place. You'll also see underneath it that our Skool community home page comes up under Executives Over 50 too. What I didn't find on Microsoft Edge was the link to our YouTube playlist, although it comes up on Google Chrome. That URL is: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLgmA5ZUP8e6Ess3Dzi2oZZz8yoBhnEg38 Please take a look at what is available for people to learn about our activities and feel free to send these links to executives you think would be interested in the group. Thanks!

FYI: I’m just speaking from experience… I think trying to find balance between your work and your life is like trying to find balance in any relationship. Whether in any personal or professional relationship one aspect is almost always at any period in time giving more. It’s very rare that there’s complete balance: both partners giving equally, teammates contributing equally, group members carrying the load evenly… Maybe a better goal would be to balance how we view our self-care? “I need to maintain my exercise routine because one day I’m going to need to lift more” “It’s not selfish to prioritize me because I want to be ready and available when my partner needs me.” “My health & well-being needs to be top of mind because it’s very stressful at work, and I need to be resilient enough not to bring that stress home.” “Over the years they’ve been there for me and now it’s my turn to be there for them, not because I owe them, but because I can and it’s the right thing to do.” ▪️You work very hard. ▪️You know how to get results. ▪️You commit fully to the collective goal. But are you fully committed to the goal of being the best you can be when it’s demanded of you, and then pat yourself on the back because you stepped up to the plate when you were needed and knocked it out of the park? 🤔 Wouldn’t it be better to have the confidence to give more when needed? 🤔 Know that you have the capacity to carry the load toward the goal when others can’t? 🤔 And be able to rest on your laurels because you were there when you were needed and followed through? That’ll never happen if you're not prioritizing your self-care. The energy you're putting into finding work / life balance will expire before you ever find it. But, if you put your energy into your health & well-being, working out consistently, making positive food decisions, planning your rest and recovery, there’s one thing I can promise… ✅ You’ll be ready when the time comes. ✅ You’ll be strong enough to push through and carry the load.
