To all our Anerican evyAI community: Happy July 4th from your Canadian cousins north of the border. As a Canadian who has been to many NHL hockey games we love to sing both national anthems.

and I have distant relatives from France going back 300+ years or so when the Acadiens (later called Cajuns) were resettled to Louisiana to try and hold it for the French against the English and eventually those upstart Yankees.
