Be vulnerable and thank me later ;)
“Don’t tell me what to do.” 🦜
That’s the exact reaction most people get when you make content, shoving your worldview towards them.
“Do this…do that…” you say in every post/content without realising how much it repels people.
The thing is…most people don’t like being told to do something.
And even YOU hate those people who tell you what to do.
It’s just human nature. 🍃
Most people have fragile EGO. And they can’t stand when you tell them what to do.
And the only cure to that is…vulnerability.
When you let out your full personality.
When you stop holding back.
When you stop calculating what you need to “present” in your content.
It’s only when you share what you’ve gone through…that your audience relates to it.
Because they see themselves in your struggles and in the pain that you had.
Deep down, they’re moved by your journey.
And most importantly…they start looking up to you.
Because you’ve made the transition and conquered the thing that they’re currently going through.
And they know you’re not one of those people who only talk.
But you’re the one who walks the walk…
That automatically puts you in a position of authority.
And then selling becomes like a breeze.
Because your audience is already pre-sold.
Heck, your audience comes to you with their money because of how much they resonated with you.
So don’t be afraid to go into “weird” details in your content.
The thing that you find weird ends up resonating with them the most.
And they end up becoming your client.
And the entire process most people dread…becomes a breeze. (especially if you’re a coach)
But vulnerability isn’t as easy as it sounds. It comes with a price.
It puts you on the spot.
Where it’s easier for people to pick on you, judge you, and even throw hurtful comments at you…FOR NO REASON AT ALL.
But you need to be willing to take the risk.
Because the rewards ALWAYS outweigh the risk. 💸
In a world full of people who give orders, be a leader. A vulnerable leader.
