In person networking
I attended my first NSN in person Get Connected event this past Saturday. While there, I realized that in person networking threw me for a loop. I get to be very targeted and thoughtful about my engagement on LI, giving myself time to think/respond or have all my questions written out before a phone call. However, I found myself more uncomfortable not knowing how to adjust with each person I approached or engaged. It may have been all nerves, but does anyone have suggestions on how to maximize the in person networking events when you don’t know who will be in attendance and can’t scope the scene/their profile beforehand?
