Alright, Epic Dads!
Monday is here. For most of the world, this is the start of a chaotic, reactive week. But not for us. For us, the victory was already engineered yesterday.
My mission tracker for the week is locked in. My high-performance fuel (aka meals) is prepped and ready for deployment.
Why? Because an Epic Dad doesn't just stumble into the week hoping for a win; he is the architect of his own victory. He sets the terms.
This is the core of what we do here. We live by The Epic Dad Playbook: Clarity + Execution = Dominance.
- Clarity (The Mission): You must know, with absolute precision, what a win looks like this week for your Bank, Body, Bond, and Brain. A vague target is no target at all.
- Execution (The Weapons): These are your non-negotiable systems for success. The meal prep that fuels you. The mission tracker that keeps you honest. The scheduled, focused time with your kids and partner. These are the daily actions that make your success inevitable.
- Dominance (The Result): This is what it feels like to live by Design, not by Default. This is being the thermostat, not the thermometer, in your own life. You set the temperature.
So I ask you: How are you sharpening your weapons for the week ahead?
- Your Morning Mission Brief: How are you using the first 15 minutes of your day to get clear on your primary objective? What is the one crucial target that, if hit, makes the whole day a victory?
- Fueling the War Machine: Your body is your vehicle for this entire mission. It requires high-octane fuel. How are you preparing it to perform at an elite level, instead of leaving it to chance?
- Your After-Action Report (The Tracker): A goal without measurement is just a wish. Are you tracking your progress? This is about being brutally honest with yourself so you can adapt, overcome, and keep advancing.
Now, let's get accountable and share our mission objectives.
Answer these two questions in the comments:
- What’s one mission you are excited to conquer this week?
- What’s one objective that makes you nervous (which means you must do it)?
I'll lead the charge:
- Excited: I'm taking my son to the Pokes game. This is a strategic Bond operation. We’re not just watching a game; we're forging a memory that will strengthen our connection for years.
- Nervous: I have to make the calls to secure major funding for the nonprofit. The ask is big and the possibility of "no" is real.
But we all know the truth. An Epic Dad runs towards the things that make him nervous. That’s where new ground is taken. That's how legends are built.
Post your mission objectives below. Let's hold the line together.
Dominate the week.
