What kind of microdosing regimen should you use?
There are a multitude of different ways that you can work with psychedelic medicine & there are a multitude of different microdosing regimen. As you venture into your relationship with this medicine, you will find which regimen works best for you & sometimes this may shift & be different overtime, depending on what period of your life that you're in. Choose which regimen resonates with you the most or take time to test them all out. There are endless ways to build a regimen based on the type of schedule that you have & based on what you are needing from it. You will learn more about the possibilities & what works best for you as you sink deeper into your relationship with the medicine. These are not the only regimen but here are 6 recommendations that I have for you to get started. Remember to mark your microdose days down on the calendar so you can remember when to microdose. 1 - 1 day on, 1 days off, essentially just taking a microdose every other day. 2 - 1 day on, 2 days off, this is what I recommend to begin beginners to get started & get a feel for it. 3 - 2 days on, 3 days off 4 - 3 days on, 4 days off 5 - 4 days on, 2 days off 6 - 5 days on, 2 days off As I said, these are not the only regiments you can create your own. There are so many different ways to microdose. It is not one-size-fits-all. Don't be afraid to experiment with your own unique regimens to create a schedule that works perfectly for you. There's also something called intuitive microdosing, which is when you microdose based off of your intuition. As your relationship with the medicine gets stronger, you will find that you know what you need each day. Your tolerance to the medicine is going to increase each day that you take it. It is okay to microdose for multiple days in a row, but after about 5 days straight, you won't really get the effects anymore. A lot of people think that this means you need to increase the dose, but this is not something that I recommend. You always want to give your brain & body at least 2 days off the medicine per week to allow your tolerance to drop back down to baseline. The days when you are not taking the medicine is a really good time to reflect on what you learned.

How does microdosing help you process emotions?
Microdosing is not going to stop you from feeling your intense emotions, but what it does is it makes you more aware of those intense emotions & why they are happening. Many of us get caught up in unconscious thought loops, especially when we are triggered. We don't even realize that we are behaving in a certain way & following certain unhealthy patterns & this is a big reason why people get on pharmaceutical medication. It is to regulate this, but this is only a band-aid for the real issue. The real issue is buried underneath the way that you are feeling & reacting to life. Microdosing helps you to dive into that & begin understanding it. It helps you to understand why it's all happening & it helps you to release it so that you can start creating new patterns instead of placing a band-aid over an infected wound & continuing on like you're fine, which is essentially what pharmaceutical medication does. When you take a microdose & say something really upset you, you are still going to feel those emotions. You will still get upset, but a microdose is going to bring more awareness to the situation instead of just blocking you from feeling those emotions, it helps you to understand them. Overtime, it will help you to stop falling into the same unconscious patterns. It will make you very aware of how you're feeling & how you're behaving, it will help you gain awareness & this is where the real healing work begins. The healing is in the awareness that the medicine gives you. The medicine is going to teach you about yourself at a very deep level & it's going to teach you about your feelings & behaviors. It is not going to stop you from feeling, if anything it may intensify it sometimes but it does this in a way that it brings clarity instead of pain, anxiety, depression, sadness, grief, guilt, & etc.

When you are focused on something, it should be very easy to forget that you've taken it but when you are focused on it, you should definitely notice that something is different. if you feel tired, jittery, psychedelic or anxious, this is a sign that you have taken too much. The perfect microdose
Microdosing tips
Microdosing is very different than taking a larger amount of psychedelic medicine in a ceremonial setting. It will not make you have visual effects & it is not a super intense experience. It just alters your perception a little bit. It's about a strong as caffeine or nicotine. It will reduce many unpleasant symptoms like anxiety & depression. Microdosing is not something that you do every day, but you can do it up to 5 days in a row if you choose, but you want to give yourself at least 2 days off the medicine per week. You always want to take a little break to integrate what you've learned & to allow your tolerance to drop back down. Your tolerance to the medicine is going to build up very quickly. I recommend that everybody get a journal to keep track of the dates when you microdose, as well as how much you took & to write down anything that comes to your mind like realizations or epiphanies, anything that feels really important to write down that you don't want to forget. You always want to reflect on these entries at a later time, it's really good to do it on the days when you're not microdosing because it helps with integration. Alternatively to keeping a journal, you can also just write this stuff down in the note section of your phone. You can expect a shift within the first week. You will notice a change in how you feel & the way that you think & within a month or two, you are going to feel like a completely new person & that evolution just continues to unfold as you work with it more & more.

Microdosing is an intuitive journey
When a lot of people are thinking about starting microdosing, they will often come to me & ask me what type of schedule they should be on, if they should be consistently taking it & if they're allowed to take breaks from it. The reality is that microdosing is nothing like taking pharmaceuticals. These are meant to be taken at the same time every day & in my personal experience, there isn't really a lot of inner work that goes into it. I personally do not find that blindly & repetitively taking a pill, every single day helps me. The difference between pharmaceuticals & microdosing is that the microdosing actually encourages you to engage in your healing. You have to think about it & you have to be very intentional for it to work. When you microdose you are not just taking it every single day at the same time & just expecting it to correct your brain. It's not even something that you take every day & the amount of days per week that you take it, the frequency to which you consume the medicine is up to you, the medicine & your intuition. It's not up to the practitioner or anyone else in the world. This is your microdosing journey & if you feel like you need to dose most days out of the week, then do it. If you feel like you only need to take it twice a week, then do it. Follow your intuition. Follow your heart. Follow what your gut is telling you. Follow what your brain is telling you. All of this is connected to what the medicine is communicating with you even when you're off of it. It is a very conscious spirit. It is alive & it is communicating with you even if you're not fully aware of its communication. What you feel inside yourself, like really deep inside yourself, is what you should be doing. If you sit there for a minute & ask yourself how often you should be dosing & when you should be dosing, this is all connected to the medicine. If you sit there for a minute & question yourself, an answer will come to you. You are in charge of your microdosing journey. You are in charge of your healing. The medicine is just there to offer you some guidance. It will lead you to the truth & the more that you work with the medicine, the more you will understand exactly what you need from it & you will understand exactly how to work with it.
