Monday Grammar Tip – Affect vs Effect
Students often confuse these two words.
Affect - Usually a verb.
It means to influence.
Example: Lack of revision can 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 your GCSE results.
Effect - Usually a noun.
It means the result or outcome.
Example: The 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 of regular revision is greater confidence.
