I just joined Endurance Skool, what should I do now?
1. Watch the intro video
Start with the intro video so you understand how the Skool platform works. It’s super easy, but I still recommend watching it first to get the hang of it.
2. Join our Strava group
You’ll find the post with the Strava link pinned below. Send a request and I’ll accept it asap. The group is only for Endurance Skool members, so we can motivate each other and give tips based on our trainings.
3. Introduce yourself
Make a post where you introduce yourself and tell us why you joined Endurance Skool. This helps us all get to know each other and makes the community feel more connected.
4. Start watching the courses
I recommend starting with the Training Running course. There’s a lot of knowledge in there, so maybe even watch it more than once. You’ll also find an eBook, it covers the same info but sometimes explained differently. Save it, even for when you’d ever leave Endurance skool, see it as a little gift from me ;)
5. Make your own training schedule
Now comes the fun part: use all the knowledge and start creating your own training plan. Try things out and don’t be afraid to experiment. If you’ve made a schedule, post it in the community feed, I’ll give you my honest feedback on it.
6. Check out the other courses
There are also courses on core, strength, and running drills. Add these to your schedule and follow the instructions I’ve written there. If you’re really serious about improving, check out the lactate measurement course. The nutrition and mental courses will also give you tons of valuable insights. And don’t forget the weekly training insights course, that one keeps evolving and will help you stay sharp.
7. Advanced stuff
We’re working on new, more advanced courses right now. They’re not essential, but definitely worth it if you want to progress faster. These will be unlocked in your 2nd or 3rd month. Or if you upgrade to the annual subscription, you’ll get instant access.
8. Join the coaching calls (future feature)
Right now, the community is still small, so we haven’t set up regular calls. But if you want a call whether with me (training questions and other questions) or with Jona (nutrition or cycling-related), just send us a message and we’ll figure out a time. Once the group grows, we’ll start doing weekly Q&A calls open for everyone.
9. Meet runners nearby (future feature)
Later, when the community gets bigger, you’ll be able to check the map and find other runners near you to link up with for training sessions.
