A clip of Robert Moore talking about building an inner temple for communion, to harness your archetypal energy.
Let's rock 'n' roll and regulate!
You can learn to recognize what space in the psyche you tend to occupy more of the time. You can get a sense about what parts of the psyche you’re locked out of most of the time… You can do some practical diagnostics on yourself, and you can learn ways to work on those areas where you’re weakest.
Your psyche needs checks and balances like a government that's acting right
"Behind the acting out two-year-old, there's a lot of dragon juice. That's not just a little kid—that's dragon stuff coming through that angry two-year-old. This person appears as a material substance; it's not just an imagined reality, there really is a structure here. When you get into conscious communion with the great self, there really is a structure to that. In it are mixed the squareness, the roundness, the diameter and the dimensions which restrain one another, having been in existence before the beginning of the Heavens and the Earth. These elements which restrain each other are archetypal, not personal. They've been in existence before the foundations of the Earth. It's not just the government that has to have checks and balances. Your psyche has to have checks and balances like a government that's functioning right. In fact, it would be interesting to think about the archetypal grounds of the different branches of government. We're getting into the inner temple—your structurally integrated self-system that through great effort you have created by working to balance the opposites. Its interior is made up of intercommunicating labyrinths, not one labyrinth but four. In this space, the protection for the practitioner is so complete as to turn back all that is devilish and undesirable. If you are in this inner temple and you're consciously, respectfully offering your offerings to the primal other, the Satanic consequences of overflowing archetypal energy subsides. When you're in this space, cessation of thought is desirable and worries are preposterous."

About the King, Warrior, Magician, and Lover system of thinking
"In my own school of thought, I draw from different schools of psychoanalysis. I'm a Neo-Jungian, but someone could make the case that I'm a Neo-Adlerian or a Neo-Freudian. I have tried to draw on a vast variety of materials to come up with a more scientific psychoanalysis, which I call structural psychoanalysis. Any psychoanalysis that is scientific not only has to discern structures in the psyche, but it must develop the best possible understanding of how those structures got there, what goes wrong with them, and how dysfunctions of structure create psychopathology. It must also understand how changing structures aids us in helping the personality integrate and move toward its optimum. That's what my project is. It's very grandiose, but I've always said, befriend your grandiosity. As Dizzy Dean said, 'It ain't grandiose if you can do it.'"
