Hello new friends! I'm Lindsey, a YNAB Certified Coach and a Certified Money Coach. I help women who earn decent money but feel like they don't have anything to show for it, heal their relationship with money, create a positive money mindset and learn to LOVE budgeting and finally feel confident managing their finances!! I have had my business for 5 1/2 years now but have mainly been doing 1:1 coaching during that time. I found Skool in October and immediately fell in love and decided to FINALLY try a membership...which I had been thinking about for more than a year at that point! I have also had an email list from day one but my biggest struggle right now is to get them to actually buy! I've been starting to think that I had the wrong people on my list so my focus recently has been on visibility and finding those right subscribers! I currently live in Carlisle, Pennsylvania with my husband and our three cats (any other crazy cat ladies here??). I also LOVE the color purple (yes, the actual color) as well as a good jigsaw puzzle!

Hello everyone! I've been lurking here for a while and thought it was time to say Hi. I've been devouring Kylie's podcast and feel like I've gotten so much out of it, and looking forward to continuing that growth here. I moonlight as a Handknitwear Designer - which is to say, I write and sell hand knitting patterns. It is a very saturated (and not very profitable) market. I let my business kind of go to sleep during the pandemic, as my full time/day job is teacher and it was all just a lot at the time. I recently decided I wanted to dust it off and revive my business, with more intention this time. My hope is that I can actually make a profitable side hustle, but I have misgivings and doubts every day. I've slowly been working on some patterns - which takes a very long time. In the meantime, I've been trying to be pretty steady about my email list. I still had my email list from years ago, so I dusted it off and moved to Flodesk. I've been pretty regular in my monthly+ emails, and that feels like a much nicer pace than social media. I know I'm making so many mistakes, but you have to start somewhere and I know I'll keep growing. I'm looking forward to connecting and learning in this space.

I am really feeling encouraged to even find this community and Kylie’s offerings. I have paid for so many classes based around mastering social media and the bottom line is you are constantly trying to think of content and then spending hours editing. I know email and I can do minimal social media but I don’t want to chase the algorithm. I have created digital tools to support families that need support with their children in Special Education and teachers trying to leave the Classroom. I love to travel—been to Ireland, South Africa, Mexico and Scotland. Will go to Italy next year. Going on my first cruise in December. My second passion is reading. I have an audio book and a regular book going at all times.
