Using "PS" ....
So I've started using PS and it's been working really well (to my surprise!) But randomly, my 5 year old asked me today "Mummy why have you written my name at the end of your emails". His name is Prabhsimar Singh and we usually write PS on family chats...😂 A really nice learning moment of what PS means in an email or letter and how it's different to his initials! (Sorry bit random but wanted to share the win and learning moment with my son).

@Rachel Eglinton Yes absolutely. It got me thinking about more ways I can personalise an email

Hey! I just caught up on the summit walk through. How did you choose your speakers and experts? And what's your view on competition vs collaboration? I know a lot of other Punjabi Tutors. But would I invite them into summit to share their tips and ideas? Or is there a risk of leakage to other people?

@Kylie Kelly Thank you so much! Yes I believe in collaboration over competition but then have been taken for granted before so now I'm cautious. Love starting with the topics! Adding this to my list of things to try...
MAP
My visibility and growth has stumped. I was going so well last year on LinkedIn and in person stalls and getting people onto my email list. (until about June) Since June, it's been quiet. I've not really grown my list and I have tried other things like PR but didn't manage to get people onto my list. Just got people to know me more. I also notice that I know don't have the right systems in place to help me. Too much admin stuff. Not enough relationship building and not enough marketing. My website is a bit pants too! Functional but not made for getting people to sign up.

@Rachel Eglinton Yes I think I have a good idea on what needs to get done but just not enough time in a day!

@Rachel Eglinton Thank you! I definitely need to do that.
"Go back to the data"
So I used to have a corporate data analyst job before I became a mum and before becoming my own boss. As a Data Analyst I would always tell my stakeholders "go back to the data" ... What story does it tell you? Who is this working for? What improvements can be made? And somehow 3 years into my own business, I've forgotten this. Social Media isn't my favourite part by far! I hate every minute of it so I batch create content, dump it into a gsheet and my VA schedules it all. (Win!) I go into reply to comments or questions (barely). My analytics show I use 4 mins of Instagram a day. 😀😀 But looking at my data, people are finding me through - LinkedIn posts - Word of mouth - Instagram (reels) - Flyers - PR My data is telling me referrals are better than Instagram. Interesting! Now... How do I double down on this? Do I have a loyalty scheme where if you refer someone you get x% off or a lesson free or a small gift in the post/Amazon voucher. I have some thinking to do!

I was introduced to Kylie just about 1 month ago as we both did another course together. I loved her idea that there was another way to scale your business that doesn't rely on social media. Because let's face it, between my business, the house and home educating/schooling, who has time for it! I joined her Email Incubator course and have loved every minute of it. Kylie is generous with her advice and her time. Takes time to talk you through things and really understand your business. I'd highly recommend joining Premium if you are looking for that extra edge. (I just joined too) 🙂
