How to Move Your CalSync Planners to a New Computer (Without Losing Annotations)
If you’re switching computers (or setting up CalSync on a second machine), you do NOT need to regenerate your planners or lose your handwritten notes.
CalSync stores your planners locally on your computer in this folder:
Documents/einkpads/backups/planners
Inside that folder, each planner has its own folder.
That folder represents one complete planner.
What’s Inside Each Planner Folder?
You’ll always see three files:
- planner-name.pdf
- .content file
- .metadata file
👉 Your annotations live on the tablet, but these files ensure the planner is treated as the same document when re-uploaded.
