It has been a bit of a crazy back-to-school start, and I know I’ve been a little behind these past few months. Thank you for bearing with me.
Whenever someone joins our Teachers for Peace teaching community — free or paid — I always think there must have been something that brought you here. Maybe you wanted to teach, connect with other educators, share a skill, or simply be part of something meaningful.
That trust really matters to me, and I don’t want anyone to join and then wonder, Okay… now what? 😅
So I’d love to get this community talking again.
I’ve also just started a new job teaching at a school, and after years of being used to smaller classes, and online classes,: teaching big groups of high school students is definitely stretching me!
So I’ll start with a question for you:
What is your best advice for keeping a big group of teenagers engaged and actually speaking?
And if you’re new here, please introduce yourself too — tell us where you’re from, what you teach, and what brought you to Teachers for Peace. 💙
I’m really looking forward to getting to know more of you. 💙🌍
