Im a bit of a genelogy buff and have found a connection between my family Im a Gordon. (Gordon, Laidlaw, Blyth and Faa) to Aboyne Castle I no that its not in Edinburgh but would love any info if possible on how to visit.

Can anyone advise me about haggis? I want to try it whilst in Scotland but have heard mixed reactions..!! I suppose it's like vegimite here in Australia, you either love it or hate it, but with Vegimite, it's all about the amount you have on your toast with butter..!! Is it a required taste?

Hello all! My name is Lauren and I was in Edinburgh this past October and plan to be returning in March for approximately 3 months, so figured this community would come in really handy! Which THEN lead me to the idea of reaching out for a wee bit of help? I’ll be over doing some music collaborations with a friend of mine who lives there and am having a LOT of trouble finding a flat that isn’t absolutely exorbitant. 😅 I’m looking for a furnished 1 bedroom flat in the Meadows area specifically because that is where all my Edinburgh friends live and I’m obviously just in love with it.
