A new beginning!
Welcome! I've created this group today (19th Dec 2025) to help people celebrate the best city in the world! I'm super excited and currently busy building everything out. If you don't know me by now, I'm David (@davidwilliambryan on Insta/TikTok/Facebook). I'm an actor/standup comedian living here in Edinburgh and I'm absolutely obsessed with the city.) I post so much about Edinburgh and started getting so many questions that I figured I'd help folks get the most out of this amazing place! Thanks for being here. Hi, I am Carol from Seattle! I love to travel and, finally, have been able to start going beyond my beautiful PNW, venturing to longed-for places and finding hidden treasures along the way. I plan to be in Edinburgh next spring. I welcome suggestions on places to see and best forms of travel to get there (is Metro better than the bus, are taxi's available, trains, etc.) I love the outdoors, music, art, culture, history, and am a multimedia artist. Something Different
As it’s been so grey and damp recently I thought I might post a few photos of something much brighter and somewhat visually magnificent. I’m cheating as this is not Edinburgh but I promise to get out and about and capture a few scenes from Edinburghs lesser known beauty spots. Well they don’t get posted a lot but many still go to them. 😁. If anyone can guess where this is then please comment. The building is where you might stay. I’ll comment on the location in a few days.
