Last year, I tried cutting corners when saving wild seeds - I let them air dry and stored them in recycled glass jars...then...MOLD! All my seeds started growing a funky moId in the jar. Seeds that seem dry will sometimes have residual moisture AND if you live in a humid climate like I do, nothing ever gets REALLY dry. So this year, I'm storing my seeds in breathable paper envelopes WITH silica packets! My order of 100 silica packets just arrived....now, I'm off to forage 100 different kinds of seeds!...well maybe not quite that many. But I already have about 15 different kinds so we're off to a good start πππ±
