I am an animal lover, always have been, always will be! Growing up seems my family always had a dog around to keep us company and there is a calming energy having a dog or cat around you. When I was living in Georgia I was on my way home from a grocery store run when I saw a few cars stopped in the middle of a busy road. I slowed down and noticed a small dog running around loose and several people chasing it. So I felt compelled to stop and join in the effort to catch the little one. We finally caught her and decided what to do next. She was wearing a collar with tags and I checked to see if one of the tags had any information as to ownership. It did and I called, got no answer. I decided to take her home with me and call again later. I finally got ahold of the owner who was in a panic because she could not find her dog. I told her I had her at my house and she was safe, the owner thanked me and said she was on her way to come and get her. A tearful reunion followed by a million thank you's, she tried to pay me and I declined telling her I have three dogs myself and it was my pleasure to help save a life. If you own a pet it is in your best interest to get an information tag, all pet stores sell them and have your name and number engraved on it because you never know when it may come in handy! My love and light to all you beautiful humans, make someone's day and go the extra mile!
