EXCITING! NEW COURSE WEDNESDAY 🥁🎸
Hey Drum Shed members, hope you are having a good start to your week! I am really excited, on Wednesday I am releasing the first 3 videos from my new course 'The relationship between bass and drums'. This course really was a labour of love and I have put a lot of time and money into it for you guys. There are 5 videos in total featuring myself and bass player Will Froggatt. We discuss the relationship between a bass player and drummer in a band and give some useful tips throughout. This videos and course are ONLY available through the Drum Shed Community. A new way to practice maybe?
So I’m just back from a fab holiday in South Africa & Mauritius. Filmed these guys in South Africa who were doing a dance originally performed by miners hence the wellies! Thought you might be interested they were really brilliant!

Tonight You Belong to Me
Hi everyone, I’ve been working on the song "Tonight You Belong to Me" since the beginning of May. It actually dates back to the 1920s and was featured in the late 1970s in the comedy *The Jerk*. It includes a very romantic scene: night, waves, ukulele, cornet solo 🎺👄... I found a version of the song on YouTube by Patience and Prudence from the mid-1950s. According to the YouTube comments, this version was also broadcast on television. The TV series was called *American Horror Story*. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRmgWrHmgfA So, happy spooking!

Can you tell which song I’m practicing?
Here’s another unplugged playing on my e drum. I’ve been practicing this song for quite some time now. I still have a long way to go but I thought it might be fun to make it into a quiz. 😁🤭. Hint: a Foo Fighter’s song.
