If you do NOT have CKD

If you have CKD
- CKD Stages 1–3: ~1.0 g/kg/day
- CKD Stages 4–5 (not on dialysis): ~0.6 – 0.8 g/kg/day
- On dialysis: ~1.2 – 1.5 g/kg/day
