Welcome Our 1st Completely Organic Member George Alexandrou
George! Welcome! I'm so glad to know that you not only joined our community, but also discovered our community completely on your own! @Bill Hazelton @Mike Pirie @Anthony N @Jeremiah Hance @Laura Sura we have our 9th member now, including me. George shared his favorite food, which is a traditional Greek dish called souvla. Honestly it looks amazing to me! I would eat it for main meal if I know how to cook it properly. And George you will be pleasantly surprised that I post a lot of recipes here under the Dragon Fuel category! I try to make healthy meals with clean ingedients. Let me know your dietary preferences, so I can include variations for your exact needs! For example, I usually use low-carb high-fiber substitutes to hamburger buns or burrito wraps. And I use chicken breast instead of pepperoni for homemade pizza. Please tell us a bit more about yourself! For example, how long have you been working as a full-stack dev? Did you study computer science in college? What are your biggest goals for health that you feel comfortable sharing? So happy to have you join us! I look forward to seeing your comments and posts in this community!
My journey from cocaine addiction to Self mastery
Hey guys, here is my journey and the lessons I learned As @Mark X requested I share it her it is It all started about 20 years ago when I was 15, at the time I was feeling a little bit depressed and wanted to build freedom in my life, my parents were very strict and did listen to my complains seriously I was being bullied at school since the age of 8 and couldn't take it anymore, I was raised as Catholic and in the bible Jesus said if you get slapped on the right cheek give them your left which might have worked for him but didn't work for me, more Than that the only option my parents allowed me to use was to report the Bulling to the teachers... which only made it worse I remember the day It all changed, it was science class and someone made fun of me, and everyone laughed... even the teacher deep inside of me I felt rejected and, I felt betrayed by my parents, I had done everything to be the good kid they wanted me to be and I was forced to go to a school where I was just suffering So I made the decision to become the most rebellious and most popular kid of my school I started organising parties, first in bars (alcohol consumption for beers and low % beverage is allowed from 16) then at my parent's house when they were away, one day I met a dude at apery I had done in my parent's house we had ecstasy this blew my mind (duh) and I decided I was going to sell it, it would make me popular, feel good, and get money which happened, for the next ten years I was selling and making money I was known in various circles and clubs, owners would often prefer me as I was suppling their clients with good stuff without causing trouble this activity gre pretty well and I had a large range of products, basically all I'd want to consume on a daily basis at the peak I had 8 people working for me, and this is where things got tricky, one day my associate and best friend decided to set me up, this started an spiral of paranoia and overconsumptions, guns got involves and I wasn't ready for it

A little gift for you
In my current professional life I am a master hypnotist, which in a way is the total opposite of being physically active, however we all know that recovery is on of the most important parts of muscle growth and any physical activity, in my life I always have been very active yet recovery wasn't always on my mind so I have this gift for you a hypnosis to help you recover and grow you muscles this hypnosis came from the desire of having better rest post workout but also became a way to disconnect from pain, in fact it's been two years I haven't taken any painkillers but used this hypnosis, as you may know my past with drug addiction, it was for me a way to prove to myself that I was stronger in my mind than the pain I still wan tot learn more of the pain killer hypnosis as I know some can even use hypnosis instead of anaesthesia during surgery, I have not mastered this technique yet but with this audio you will not only relax and recover faster but you can use it for migraines and physical pain PS if you have any request for hypnosis, let me know and I will record it
Welcome Anthony Naret, the 1st Member I Knew in Real Life Before Joining
The true treasure was the friends we made along the way. But jokes aside, I do have a story with a winding plot line that merges fitness and surprising music to tell you guys @Bill Hazelton @Mike Pirie @Asha Hope @Jeremiah Hance I was shopping for baking goods at a local wholesale club when I saw a familiar face. I recognized the person being somebody who I saw at least twice in the local gym. Of course there were many people, but for two times in a row, he was performing deadlifts on the platform next to me while I worked on Olympic lifts. As I walked down the aisle in the wholesale club, I said hi and asked him if he went to the same gym. And the adventure for Anthony began! It turned out that he had been interested in Olympic lifting after watching me perform it. He didn't want to disturb me. So he watched tutorials. But postponed learning. He thought it looked too advanced. And he wouldn't want to practice with bad technique by himself. Plus he didn't trust videos online because he knew, people have different proportions of bodies. What worked for others might not work for him. I gladly took on the challenge to teach him the basics and coach him through progressions that broke down the complex movements of Olympic lifting. And he has been a quick learner. Despite being sick, with his throat congested, making it hard for him to breathe, he stayed focused during the two sessions where I taught him the basics of power clean and power snatch. And he successfully completed the training sessions with breakthroughs. Today he shared with me that he plays guitar and showed me his recordings. It sounded professional! It's so cool that in this community about physical training and philosophy, somehow everybody has a deep connection with practicing music in some way! Why do you guys think it's this way? I think it deserves my attention and reflection. And I will make a separate post about it soon.
