Domain Pricing ...The importance of getting it right
I read a lot of experienced domainers talk about the importance of getting pricing right on their domains. They see it as one of the most difficult skills to obtain. I have around 150 domains that were approved by both Atom and Brandbucket so can get a view of where each sits as regards pricing. On average Atom Approved prices have been 28.6% higher than BrandBuckets approved selling prices. I have always felt Atom approved selling prices have been overly generous and this is before any allowed increase which for me is a doubling of the price + 100%. I have felt more comfortable with Brandbuckets pricing and the allowed 20% increase. What are your views on pricing and how do your price your Atom premium listings? Personally I list at the approved price or below, but am going to experiment with a 25-30% reduction to see if it improves my Atom str.
My first .AI...
Today I bought my first .AI domain, after doing careful research to make sure it wasn’t a registered trademark either inside or outside the United States (I only found one registration in the tire and vehicle components sector in the USPTO). It can be used in many other sectors. I wanted to focus only on .COM, but since the name already has many TLDs registered and the .AI was available… I went ahead and registered it. What do you think?

Domain Research Tools - What do you use ? Free or Paid for ?
What domain research tools do you use ? Namepros.com , X,com, ExpiredDomains.net ..... Do you use paid for Domain research Tools such as Namebio.com or Dotdb.com I for one have been a slow adopter of any kind of domain research assistance , I have been on Namepros.com for about 2 years and X.com for about a year. Had I been using these from the start I would definitely be further ahead of where I am now. Recently I have been thinking of subscribing to Namebio.com who have a yearly subscription rate of $144 for their Domainer level plan (please see first attached image below for the list of benefits.) Another set of tools I have looked at is Dotdb.com . They have a basic subscription plan for $13 a month ($156/year) and a Pro plan for $41 a month ($516/year) Please see 2nd attached image for full list of benefits)
