πŸ”Ÿ Trail Check #10 - March 6, 2026
Daylight Saving Time begins for most of the country this weekend. And while Arizona doesn't officially observe DST, the impacts of "springing forward" still affect us here in our relationships to the other locations around us who do actually move their clocks ahead. The clocks changing around us may seem like a singular event, but this actually has consequences on both sides of the time spectrum. For the locations west of Arizona, it brings our time closer, but looking back east we become an hour further apart from each other. The concept of clocks "springing forward" this time of year also connects to our own individual website journeys. The forward progress we notice on other websites around us can either motivate us and bring us closer to our own progress or intimidate us to the point that we feel further separated and behind everyone else. But it doesn't have to feel this way. We need to look at progress around us as a motivating and inspirational push forward instead of a separation from success. This week, I challenge you not to look at the progress of others as another mountain to climb, but rather a lift forward and upward on the climb up your own website mountain. So, what have you noticed on the websites around you that's moved you forward and upward on your website climb this week? πŸ§—

It's the last Friday of the month and almost March ... wow, how time flies! We've been a Community for just about 2 months now, and I'm so happy and grateful to have all of you here! πŸ™ As we move into a new month, this is a great opportunity to take a moment and think about our awareness. Just like our journey up the trail, it's important to stop and take a look at our surroundings once in a while and orient ourselves to where we are right now, where we've been, and where we are going. 🧭 For this week's Trail Check, let's give some special thought to that consciousness and awareness: - What have you realized about where you're at on your website journey today? - What have you learned and done so far? - And ... What do you want to accomplish next? So, pull up a rock or tree stump, grab some trail mix, and feel the warmth of the sun as you think about how far you've come since we started this climb and all your great website wins yet to come! πŸŒ„

β“Ί Trail Check #6 - February 6, 2026
Well, we've officially climbed into the end of the first week of February and made it to our first Trail Check of the new month. Wow, that's a lot of 6's up there!! 🀩 Hopefully, you're starting to see some progress on your website - and especially your mindset - since we've begun this journey up the Web Mountain. Five weeks ago, this was all a bit of a dream, and I'm so happy we've made it to this point together! So let's share something good about our climb, either from this past week, past month, or both! Remember, our weekly Trail Check is a space to share what's good on our website journey, and anything positive counts and is fair game here, no matter how big or small. You can talk about: - Something you learned ... - Something you were able to fix ... - Something you were able to add ... Just make it something positive to help lift us all up for our own climbs!
