03/11/26 Base Camp Q&A Call
Happy Wednesday! I stuck around for about 15 minutes but didn't see anyone on the Q&A Call today. With the recent DST change, I'm considering moving these calls to a different time and/or day. There is no video for today, but if you have a question on anything web related, please add it to the comments below and I'll include it in a future call, video, and/or post. I've also been working on building out a resource section for those times you aren't able to be on a call but need some answers. Have a great rest of your week and stay tuned for more coming on these updates in the near future. Until then and as always, Keep Climbing! 🧗 -T.J.

🔟 Trail Check #10 - March 6, 2026
Daylight Saving Time begins for most of the country this weekend. And while Arizona doesn't officially observe DST, the impacts of "springing forward" still affect us here in our relationships to the other locations around us who do actually move their clocks ahead. The clocks changing around us may seem like a singular event, but this actually has consequences on both sides of the time spectrum. For the locations west of Arizona, it brings our time closer, but looking back east we become an hour further apart from each other. The concept of clocks "springing forward" this time of year also connects to our own individual website journeys. The forward progress we notice on other websites around us can either motivate us and bring us closer to our own progress or intimidate us to the point that we feel further separated and behind everyone else. But it doesn't have to feel this way. We need to look at progress around us as a motivating and inspirational push forward instead of a separation from success. This week, I challenge you not to look at the progress of others as another mountain to climb, but rather a lift forward and upward on the climb up your own website mountain. So, what have you noticed on the websites around you that's moved you forward and upward on your website climb this week? 🧗

No Live Base Camp Q&A Call On Wednesday 03/04/26
Hi everyone, hope you're all having a good first week of March, including some time to reflect on your website progress so far this year. I want to give you all a heads up that due to a scheduling conflict on my part, there will be no live Q&A call tomorrow, 3/04/26. We haven't had any live questions recently, so hopefully this change won't be too disruptive this week. As always, please feel free to drop any questions (or answers!) you have here in the Community tab by either replying to this message or creating a new post. We can go over them here and/or in a future live Base Camp Q&A call. In the meantime, have a great rest of your week and keep climbing! 🧗

⓽ Trail Check #9 - February 27, 2026
It's the last Friday of the month and almost March ... wow, how time flies! We've been a Community for just about 2 months now, and I'm so happy and grateful to have all of you here! 🙏 As we move into a new month, this is a great opportunity to take a moment and think about our awareness. Just like our journey up the trail, it's important to stop and take a look at our surroundings once in a while and orient ourselves to where we are right now, where we've been, and where we are going. 🧭 For this week's Trail Check, let's give some special thought to that consciousness and awareness: - What have you realized about where you're at on your website journey today? - What have you learned and done so far? - And ... What do you want to accomplish next? So, pull up a rock or tree stump, grab some trail mix, and feel the warmth of the sun as you think about how far you've come since we started this climb and all your great website wins yet to come! 🌄

02/25/26 Base Camp Q&A Call
Today's video (about 5 minutes) explains a topic that's crucial to website maintenance and sustainability, but it's something not all website owners think about enough ... awareness. Knowing the invisible infrastructure that keeps your website running behind the scenes is crucial for fixing problems when they come up and even more important for preventing problems in the first place. Making a list of these pieces and keeping it in a place where you can reference as needed is like having a good trail map for your climb. You need to know where the trail is so you can stay on it. So, what does your map look like? Drop a message in the comments if you already have one or if you need help getting started. Until next time, keep your eyes on the trail and keep climbing! 🏔️
