They admitted they feel weird about asking for real money doing creative work.
That’s more common than people admit. Like being a creative person isn’t valid, or what we do does not mater as much.
A lot of creatives carry around this old idea and that caring about making money makes the work less pure.
In reality, learning how to run the business side is usually what allows the creative work to get better.
And what we do is more important than ever.
