Something I’ve noticed coaching filmmakers
One thing I’ve noticed coaching filmmakers. Most people don’t need a complete reinvention. They already have the pieces. What they’re missing is structure, and consistancy How each part of marketing fit together. How to explain what you do so clients get it. How to turn it into something repeatable. That’s the work. Where are you with this? Which part would you like to dig into together?

This is exactly why I help creatives map their marketing pieces into something that actually works for them. Once the puzzle is solved, everything else flows.
A mindset shift that came up this week
One member said something really honest this week. They admitted they feel weird about asking for real money doing creative work. That’s more common than people admit. Like being a creative person isn’t valid, or what we do does not mater as much. A lot of creatives carry around this old idea and that caring about making money makes the work less pure. In reality, learning how to run the business side is usually what allows the creative work to get better. And what we do is more important than ever. Anyone else grow up with that mindset?

I used to think charging more would make my work feel “less authentic.” Turns out, it actually made me take my work more seriously and the quality improved.
A quick idea that might help some people here.
Freelancers often think the next step is: “How do I get more clients?” Founders ask a slightly different question. “How do I become the obvious choice for the right clients?” Those are two very different problems. Inside the Founder Sprint we spend a lot of time clarifying: • who needs your work most • what problem you solve • how you communicate it That clarity makes outreach, pricing, and marketing dramatically easier, and better. Quick question: What type of client do you most want more of right now?

I’m looking to work more with founders and growing teams who need support with video editing, email and calendar management writing, lead generation, and systems that actually scale.
