Hey all, happy new year. I'm trying to implement automatic geocoding for the user location (home tab) but it only returns the coordinates without the location name because the API I'm using doesn't support reverse geocoding. Now obviously that's not ideal because I want the country and town names to be displayed. Of course when I use the search form everything displays perfectly as that gets automatically translated to coordinates but not vice versa. I've been on this thing for hours and am feeling pretty darn dumb right now 🙄. Is there any clever workaround or am I screwed? Also nice to see I'm not the only one that got hit with winter depression and was in hybernation mode, heh. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, Apologies for being MIA, I have been caught up trying to learn some backend to add to my crypto app and also sharpening the algos. Midst of all that, I was feeling slightly burnt out and decided to build out a one pager portfolio as an elevator pitch. It is still a WIP and have much to add. Needed your help to spot any issues or any recommendations are highly appreciated. I have gone ahead and added projects that I picked up in the course as a showcase, as many on them cover quite a lot of ground. Please do let me know your thoughts as to improvements and suggestions. I am trying to follow through the lesson for Component Did Mount & Componenet Did Update with fetching API's. First I used code sandbox but at one point I have got errors as I wasn't using the same version of react-router and yesterday all day I tried to find a solution so in the end I just switched to stackblitz. I went through the videos again and done it step by step and it was good until I had to send API requests in the user component too. Then I found out that github only allows 60 requests per hour so I tried to get my token and used that but still when I click on other links other than Home, the data is not fetching. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I'm working on my fullstack todo app right now and this is what I have so far: https://github.com/mhayakawa1/fullstack-todo For the login feature, I want to allow users to log in with their Google account. I set up a client ID on Google Cloud, but haven't been able to set up the log in feature yet. I tried over a dozen tutorials, but every time I install dependencies and set up the boilerplate code, it ends up being incompatible with the app. The tech constraints for the project say to use Node.js + Express or Fastify with TypeScript for the backend and SQLite or Postgres for the database. For anyone that has been able to implement this feature before, how did you do it?

I have two problems that have exceeded what I'm capable of at this very moment. 📌 On my bill input, I'm trying to put a character limit after my decimal ie. ($382.92) and a dollar amount limit of ($9999.00). 📌 Line 106. I dislike my repeating logic. I know I can put that in its own function, but I just can't figure it out. You don't have to give me the solution outright. I'm more than happy with being nudged into the right direction so I can do some research on some methods/tricks that I haven't used or thought of just yet. And just so you know, this project isn't finished yet ‼️ I'm still adding error displays/sanity checks for my inputs. I have a small list of bugs that I'm taking care of. I'm excited to learn about objects, array and loops here in the coming weeks so I can refactor all this. Thanks for the help, as always 😁
