A buyer reached out to me recently asking for feedback on his new M&A sourcing strategy. His plan? Paid ads ➔ Landing Page ➔ Instant Valuation ➔ 90-Day Automated Email Nurture Sequence ➔ 20-minute Discovery Call. His goal was to close 3 to 4 acquisitions a year using this. I told him to scrap it. We have been conditioned to think about M&A outreach as a volume-based "marketing funnel." It isn't. You cannot automate trust.
