Speed Dating Event Round 1
Back in February 13, I was supposed to attend my first ever speed dating event and on Valentine’s Day attend a Single Mixer, but none of that happened because that Speed Dating event never happened because I went to the supposed location for it and never found it nor was the organizer communicative and basically that’s what had happened I never got to do it because of that. And didn’t attend the single mixer on Valentine’s Day because I was indeed a little under the weather with a cold so couldn’t do anything special for Valentine Day with someone but just got to be with my family. However, last Saturday I finally attended my first ever speed dating event and it was a cool experience! I showed up at a coffee shop and there were more guys than girls there but the event happened regardless! I had to wait in line for my turn to talk to the girls because there where only 13 girls and like 25+ guys but then I got to sit down and talk to each girl for like 3 minutes each. Yeah, you heard correct just 3 min each! The place was really loud and sometimes could barely hear the girl I was talking to because of all the noise and the speed dating rounds were too fast as it was just 3 minutes we got to talk to each girl to make a connection. I talked to them and they all seem nice but out of the 13 girls only 3 caught my attention. 1 I really like but couldn’t form a connection with her because of the age difference and she did see that as a deal breaker and the other one just wasn’t that interested in making a connection but the last one I kinda did. Her name is Sandy and she seemed lovely even got dazzled I play Yugioh lol but we had a short time talking and when the event was over, we did match on the app to continue talking and I messaged her the same day but didn’t hear back from her till 2 days later one time and I replied but haven’t heard from her since so don’t know if it will really go anywhere between me and her but the point is I finally got back in the dating scene after so LONG and I had so much fun meeting these girls and participating in this event. It’s definitely not the last time I’ll do something like this. What I’m trying to say is…my dating life is not over yet. It’s only just the beginning and I know sooner rather than later I will meet someone meaningful and special and I will be in a relationship! Yes! 🙌🏻 Stay tuned for more of my dating adventures! 😌
