🎶 Day 2 of My Public Dance Journey
Yesterday was deep, soulful, and vulnerable. Today? Pure fun. I picked a playful track by Chloe, quick, upbeat, and full of personality. This one wasn’t about control or technicality. It was about giving myself permission to enjoy the music, laugh, and just vibe in public. That balance matters. Every entry doesn’t need to crack you open. Sometimes the growth is learning to be seen while having fun. ✨ Your Turn What’s a track you’d use if your only goal was to play, smile, and let go? Comment it below ⬇️ 👉🏾 And if you feel like you always end up stiff or too serious when you dance, that’s exactly what we work on in private coaching—unlocking texture, joy, and presence all at once. DM me if that’s you.
🌎 The 7-Day Public Dance Journey (Day 1)
What happens when you stop waiting for the perfect moment—and just dance in public where anyone can see? That’s the challenge I set for myself. For 7 days, I’m freestyling outside in public spaces. No stage lights. No class mirror. Just me, the song, and whoever’s around. The mission: to practice presence, push past fear, and build freedom in how I show up. Day 1 started with “Lucky” by Luchane. Britney Spears was a favorite of mine growing up, and this cover transforms one of her ballads into something even more soulful and emotional. It also brought me back to my grandma’s music—jazz, soul, gospel, blues—the sounds that shaped my ear and feel like home. And here’s the truth: it stretched me. Jazz and soul are still the hardest for me to freestyle to because they require vulnerability and technicality. But leaning into that fear—especially in public—felt like the right way to start this journey. ✨ Your Turn: What’s one song outside your comfort zone that you’d challenge yourself to dance to?Drop it below ⬇️ 👉🏾 And if you know you need more support stepping into these kinds of breakthroughs, this is exactly the work we sharpen in private coaching. DM me if you’re ready to explore it.
