What if i told you that you don't even need to become a master at copywriting to get results for your clients?
You'd think i'm probably full of crap right? Haha
Well after writing lot's copy for my clients that's generated hundreds of thousands,
Speaking to 7-Figure copywriters,
learning the hard way myself trying to become a so called "master"
I realised, you don't need to be...
You don't need to be a "master"
A few months back, I used to think that I needed to become an absolute copywriting master to actually get really good results for my clients.
And I was actually wrong because,
And I saw that the copy that was generating the best results for my clients was actually just embarrassingly simple lol...
And I noticed a key thing that made it simple.
all the pieces of copy that did well had three key things in common.
1) I did a really good job at connecting with the audience i was writing too
2) I did well at understanding the market and adjusting the message and structure to the market
3) I did a good job at positioning the offer in a way that's attractive
That's it.
You don't need to even become a master at crafting words.
Like the saying goes, it's all about working smarter and not harder.
As long as your words cover the key elements, meets the correct market criteria, connects with the audience, and positions the offer in a way that stands out, your good to go.
Now I'm not saying it in be lazy way because you do need to take it seriously,
But it's not something you need to overthink.
A new mantra that I go by now is:
It's not about becoming a copywriter that works hard...
It's not about becoming a pro or a master...
It's about becoming a smart copywriter.
Please don't over think copy like I have these past few months hahhaa.
I mean look, this should be EVEN easier nowadays since we have ai to practically do it all for you. (Although, this is something I will be covering soon because it's a big leverage for you guys)
I know a lot of you here are beginners and the biggest advice i can give you is that
The one thing i've learnt throughout these months is to keep it very simple - As long as you cover the key points that signals green in the audience's mind, your good!
Anyways, I'm off to get a hair cut :)
I hope your all doing good! Drop in the comments what your up toπ
