The first two lines decide if they keep reading
Guests decide whether to keep reading your description in the first two lines. Most listings spend those lines on adjectives (spacious, charming, updated) instead of a reason to picture themselves there.
Try this: rewrite your opening line as one moment your fall guest will have at your place. Not a feature, a moment. "Wake up to the smell of coffee and a view of the ridge trail" does more work than "beautifully renovated cabin."
Day 3 of the Lab exercises, open to everyone this week.
Share your rewritten opening line below. I'll read every one today.
If you are not participating, you can still share your two first lines.
