Hi :)!
Hello folks!
It’s been a hectic month Diwali, festivals, lights, sweets… October was pure chaos in the best way possible.
So here’s a little something I’ve been meaning to share how to make your days a little less awkward.
For the past few months, I’ve faced tons of awkward moments random silences, ignored hellos, weird encounters, you name it. But things started to shift recently when a few managers from Hyderabad visited our site. They’ve got this chill Amazon culture vibe confident, unbothered, and socially sharp. And I realized something powerful from them:
👉 Don’t take anything personally.
Seriously. It’s simple but hard to pull off.
When you talk to people, do it without expecting reactions or validation. If someone ignores you, stays in their own zone, or has earphones in it’s fine. Keep it respectful, keep it light, and don’t lose your vibe over it.
For example today, someone asked me for cafeteria directions. I helped him out, we shared a smile. Later, we crossed paths again, but this time he had earphones in and walked past without noticing me. Just let it go.
Because here’s the truth the moment you keep trying to talk to people who consistently ignore you, you’re not being kind anymore, you’re being disrespectful to yourself.
And yeah, I’ve been connecting with some new managers lately nothing huge, but man, their communication game is top-tier. Picked up a lot from them.
Jason once said, “Don’t take things personally.” Couldn’t agree more. If you forget that, you’re inviting chaos straight into your peace of mind.
That’s it from me,thanks for reading, fam 🙌
Now your turn how do you handle awkward moments? Or better yet, share your funniest awkward story below 😅
