After speaking in front of 900, here's what I learned.
This situation was much more casual rather than some of my informative speeches or competitions.
It was actually for a show where a group I was in was performing.
The auditorium was packed out with 800 seated and the rows filled with over a hundred more standing.
Of course I felt nervous, that's typical. Here's what I did to beat that feeling.
  • I spoke to be understood, not impressive.
Your words, demeanor, and mood will reflect. Remember this. That alone impresses.
  • I knew my next point before opening my mouth.
This might take preparation at first, but it's a skill that can be trained.
  • I said less, but meant more.
Just like the bullets in this post, few words can mean more than essays at some times.
What are you struggling with personally with social confidence?
Small scale interactions or larger scale?
