Most of you struggle with one of these:
- You’re creating content, but your calendar is empty.
- You’re booking calls with unqualified prospects.

So you start hearing about things like Google’s 7/11/4 Rule.
And you think, “Ah, that’s it. I need to get people to spend 7 hours with me before they buy.”
But here’s the truth:
That rule is completely misunderstood.
Let me break it down for you:
The 7/11/4 Rule says:
“Before someone buys, they need to spend 7 hours with you, across 11 touchpoints, on 4 platforms.”
So what do most people do?
They start asking:
“How can I make my leads spend 7 hours with me as fast as possible?”
Wrong question.
The 7 hours is an average.
People need to spend 7 hours with you ON AVERAGE before they buy.
But do you really want to be average?
I don't.
And if you don’t either, then ask yourself this instead:
“How can I make someone buy the same day they find me?”
You don’t need 7 hours — if you influence your audience at a deeper level.
There are 5 levels of influence in online marketing:
1.Text/image posts (the lowest level)
The least impactful piece of content. People can't see or hear you. They only read text.
2. Short-form content
Better. Now they hear and see you — but only for 30–60 seconds per video.
3. Long-form content
Game-changer. This is where you will make most of your money. Long form is ideal because it reprograms your audience for 10-60+ minutes. The more people spend time with you, the more they trust you.
4. Live 1-1 calls
The final trust builder. You are no longer giving a monologue — it’s a real conversation. You can answer questions, handle fears, and move them to “yes.”
So, if you want your leads to buy the same day, create a system like this:
Short form -> DMs -> Long form -> Sales Call
Here’s what that looks like:
Step 1: Use short-form videos to drive DMs. Offer a free lead magnet.
Step 2: The lead magnet should be in the form of 30-60 minute YouTube videos, so you can influence them on a higher level
Step 3: Drop a CTA mid-video and at the end to book a strategy call.
Step 4 (secret sauce): Once they book, send them to a thank you page with a free 30-minute training that knocks out the most common objections you get on sales calls.
Now you’ll only get on calls with people who are already warm, qualified, and ready to buy.
You won't need to use any high-pressure sales tactics to make them buy on the first call.
Plus, your show-up and close rate will skyrocket.
