Building a community isn’t about perfect posts, it’s about real connections
I’ve seen so many people fall into the trap of trying to create the perfect post, well-designed graphics, carefully worded announcements, or polished “thought leadership” articles. But the truth is, what drives engagement and growth is genuine connection.
One of my most engaged threads started simply with: “What’s your biggest challenge in building a community right now?” No fancy marketing tactics, just a real question. That one post turned into dozens of thoughtful replies and ongoing conversations.
At the end of the day, people join communities to be heard, not marketed to. It’s about asking the right questions and showing you care about their experience.
What’s the one strategy you’ve found that helps your community grow organically?
