I'm all in on ICM and have been incredibly productive using VS Code, Claude Code, and a Claude Pro subscription.
However that usage ceiling is a killer. It seems like just as I get excited about something I gobble through all my usage and have to cool my heels for a few days before the weekly window refreshes.
I also have a definite preference for moving towards more open source tools, VS Code and Claude Code together are great, but I'm interested in exploring what else is out there.
I keep hearing about the power of Qwen and definitely want to start incorporating something local, so that I can get away from using subscriptions but I have no idea where to start. I have a powerhouse gaming computer so I keep wondering how I could be using my downtime to do something productive with it to push my projects further along.
Have you started down this path and what have you learned?
