My first publication!

I've been chugging along working on my book, making all the changes my Development Editor suggested - which were a lot because she is amazing! But publishing a book takes a looooong time. During that process you often wonder - will anyone read this? Will it mean as much to others as it does to me? I guess it's not necessarily imposter syndrome (although I've had plenty of that too) but it's just that little sliver of self-doubt that creeps in when you really don't need it.

So, while I was wrestling with the content of my book, I had the delightful honor to be featured in the Universal Journal of 21st Century Women's Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Technology, & Publishing. It reassured me that what I have to say matters and that other people value what I'm doing.

I talk A LOT about not needing that external validation, but it is definitely really special when it comes along! So, if you need some external validation during these insane holiday times ~ You have value! You are doing amazing things! You are appreciated!
