Co-ordinated Core - The Last Women's Health Mentorship Module
So many women will experience pelvic floor dysfunction, with the highest populations being elite crossfitters, gymnasts, volleyballers, and track and field athletes. If you client is a mum, peri or post menopausal, or an athlete (defined as someone who exercises on purpose) then chances are there are pelvic dysfunctions. In this module, we will learn how to integrate deep core and pelvic floor work into movement so that your client can continue lifting, running, and performing while keeping their pelvic floor and deep core strong, coordinated, and functional! It is highly recommended that you complete Steps 1 and 2 before embarking on this module: 1. Visualisation and Activation of the Pelvic Floor: https://clarehozack.au/product/visualisation-activation-pelvic-floor/ 3. *Optional* Measuring and Grading a Diastasis: https://clarehozack.au/product/measuring-and-grading-a-diastasis-abdominal-separation/ Learning Outcomes: - Learn how to integrate deep core exercise into movement - Understand how to manage pressure in the core - Understand when “exhale on exertion” is relevant in a movement - Empower your female clients to continue with “high risk” activities without compromising their current or future health - Learn how to layer movement to progress the deep core and pelvic floor towards a greater functional capacity. This course is for trainers who: - Train women who have had kids - Train peri or post menopausal women - Train elderly adults (men or women, with kids or without) - Train elite athletes - Coach women in “high risk” exercise such as crossfit, running, sprinting, jumping, heavy or Olympic lifting
