Teachers tell us what we’re capable of. Society tells us what success should look like. Sometimes even failure tries to convince us that our story has already been written. If we’re not careful, we start believing those versions of our lives. We begin to see ourselves through other people’s opinions, limitations, and expectations. When we don’t take control of our own story, someone else will write it for us. And often, that version leaves out our resilience, our growth, and the battles we fought to get where we are. The moment we decide to take ownership of our story, everything changes. We stop letting our past define us. We stop letting doubt speak louder than purpose. And we start building a life that reflects who we truly are. Because in the end, the most powerful thing we can do is this: be the one who writes our own story.
