After spending time in Oslo learning about different health assessments that I could potentially offer in my clinic and online, I decided to take a Zinzino Balance Test myself.
I already eat pretty well, but let’s be honest – over 30 years of not always making the best food choices doesn’t disappear overnight! 🙈
So I was surprised when my results came back showing I was significantly out of balance.
The optimal Omega-6 to Omega-3 balance is around 3:1.
My result came back at 20:1!
In simple terms, this means I have much higher levels of Omega-6 fats compared to Omega-3 fats in my body than is considered ideal. This type of imbalance is very common in modern diets because many of us consume plenty of Omega-6-rich foods but not enough Omega-3s from sources such as oily fish.
I’ve now started taking BalanceOil alongside continuing my healthy eating habits. The test measures fatty acids in your blood, and because red blood cells take around 120 days to renew, I’ll retake the test in four months to see how my results have changed.
I’m excited to see how improving my Omega-3 balance may support my overall health and wellbeing, and I’ll be sharing my progress along the way.
The tests are launching later today in my House of Health! 🎉

I can’t wait to help more people learn what’s really going on inside their bodies and take positive steps towards better health.
