Why Your Offer Might Sound Generic (And How to Fix It)
One thing I notice a lot with early-stage coaches is how hard it is to explain what makes their offer different.
And it’s rarely a confidence issue; it’s usually that the way they talk about their value is too vague or too similar to everything already out there.
The truth? Most offers don’t need to be reinvented.
They just need a clearer way of showing:
• What clients already expect
• What you uniquely bring to the table
• Who your work is actually meant for
When those pieces line up, your offer stops sounding like “career coaching” and starts sounding like your coaching.
I actually talked about this in a YouTube video this week, breaking down why most coaches struggle with articulation and how to make your value instantly clearer.
But instead of just watching the video, let’s make this interactive.
If you want feedback, drop your unique value proposition or transformation statement in the comments.
I’ll pick one and record a Loom reviewing it and giving practical guidance on how to make it stronger and more distinct.
Who’s up for the challenge?
